About I'm Possible Games

I’m Possible Games & Studio is a nonprofit organization established to assist individuals with disabilities connect with the community around them. Our goal is to create a community where every person with a disability is seen for their abilities, celebrated for their uniqueness, and given equitable access to opportunities for creative and personal development.

Our mission is to build a compassionate and inclusive community where individuals with disabilties are embraced, empowered, and celebrated. Through art, music, fitness, reading, vocational training, social skills development, and more, we strive to foster acceptance, raise awareness, and provide meaningful opportunies for personal growth, connection, and self-expression.

Why We Started

Robin and Michael Kane have lived in Avon for over 29 years, raising their four children in the community they call home. Their youngest daughter, Shelby, has participated in special education programs since preschool. When Shelby graduated from high school, Robin and Michael quickly realized how many supports disappear once individuals with special needs leave the education system.

The transition to adulthood often means the loss of structured programs, trusted relationships, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully. Too many capable individuals are left without a place to belong or a chance to work—despite having so much to offer. Robin and Michael knew this needed to change.

Our Vision

With this in mind, they set out to build a community for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities to grow and prosper. These individuals are eager to learn, grow, build relationships and contribute to society in meaningful ways, yet opportunities are limited. Anyone who knows an individual with a disability understands the impact they have on the people around them. Robin and Michael often say they have learned more from Shelby than she has learned from them.
